After completing his studies of Political Science (Master of Arts) at the University of Vienna in 1989 and a Diploma at the Johns Hopkins University / Bologna Center the following year, he began the career of a diplomat in the Austrian Foreign Ministry. He assumed executive positions at the headquarters in Vienna (1991-1994), at the Embassy in London (1994-1997), where he set up the department of "Public Diplomacy", and was assigned to the Embassy in Mexico where he took over the position of Deputy Head of Mission.
In 2000, he joined the private sector in Mexico as Senior Manager for Public Relations and Corporate Communications at the BASF Group in Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean.
In September of 2013, Frank Zeller moved to the food company Tyson de México, where he assumed the role of Director of Corporate Affairs. Since July 2016, he has been the Corporate Director of Institutional Relations at CYDSA.
